The adrenaline fuelled, action-packed thriller RED DAWN will be released, through Koch Media, on both DVD and Blu-Ray^TM this 8th July 2013.

This nail-biting re-boot of the 1984 cult classic follows a tenacious group of vigilantes as they find themselves thrown into modern warfare, facing the very real threat of an invasion by North Korea. Brothers Jed (Chris Hemsworth) and Matt (Josh Peck) are flung head first into strange new world as their hometown is rudely awakened to the surreal sight of North Korean paratroopers dropping from the sky – the U.S. has been invaded. Quickly and without warning, the citizens of Spokane, Washington, find themselves prisoners with the town under enemy occupation. Determined to stand up against the invaders, a group of young patriots take refuge in the surrounding woods as Jed trains the youths, converting them into a guerilla group of fighters. Taking inspiration from their high school mascot, the small vigilante call themselves the “Wolverines”, banding together to protect one another, liberate their town from its captors, and take back their freedom.

Red Dawn boasts an ensemble cast headed up by Chris Hemsworth (Thor, The Cabin in the Woods) and Josh Hutcherson (The Hunger Games) alongside the likes of Josh Peck (The Wackness), Adrianne Palicki (G I Joe: Retaliation), Isabel Lucas (Immortals), Connor Cruise (Seven) and Jeffrey Dean Morgan (The Losers, Watchmen).
